(3-9-10) - This is the first installment in our new series which looks at former ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards competitors who've gone on to success in NASCAR.

TOLEDO OH (3-5-10) - It's been 12 years since the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards traveled to the Lone Star State; but that will soon change when the 58-year-old tour heads back to Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas for the running of the Rattlesnake 150 April 16th.

Actually, the ARCA Racing Series is going to get there even sooner with an open test scheduled for this Tuesday, March 9th on the 1.5-mile intermediate speedway.

MOORESVILLE NC (3-4-10) - Nelson Piquet Jr. signed on with Eddie Sharp Racing to drive several upcoming in the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards. 

Piquet Jr. and the ESR team will compete in the Rattlesnake 150 at Texas Motor Speedway on April 16, the Racing for Wildlife 200 at Michigan International Speedway on June 11 and the Pennsylvania ARCA 125 at Pocono Raceway on July 31.

(3-3-10) - When Tom Hessert left Palm Beach Int'l Raceway (PBIR) Saturday afternoon, the Cherry Hill, New Jersey driver was feeling pretty darn good about his prospects headed to Salem Speedway for the next event on tour.

SHELBY TOWNSHIP MI (3-3-10) - ARCA Racing Series driver Robb Brent had a career-best day Saturday at Palm Beach International Raceway (PBIR) but the Shelby Township, Michigan native came up one position short of his first win - leaving him pondering the question - what could have been?

(3-3-10) - Tim George Jr. and the No. 31 RCR University of Miami - Buoniconti Fund Chevrolet took the checkered flag in eighth place in the Tire Kingdom 150 presented by ModSpace, posting a strong finish at the inaugural race at Palm Beach International Speedway.

George Jr. opened the weekend with Friday's practice at the first road course of the season in the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards. After making six practice runs, totaling 29 laps, the No. 31 was 11th fastest overall.

Hoosier Debuts ARCA Rain Tire With Resounding Success; Marks Wins Career-First
TOLEDO OH (3-1-10) - Justin Marks, driving for Win Tron Racing in the Construct Corps Dodge, turned "right" into the ARCA history books Saturday at Palm Beach Int'l Raceway with a convincing victory on the challenging, high-speed, 2.034-mile, 11-turn road course in Jupiter, Florida. While the victory was momentous for Marks - his career first - it was arguably even more momentous for the series itself.

JUPITER FL (2-27-10) - Inside ARCA, a live video and audio stream, returns today at ARCAracing.com from Palm Beach Int'l Raceway. Today's pre-race show, from 11:30 AM to 12 noon, will feature NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion/ARCA car owner Bill Elliott and his rookie driver Casey Roderick, who earned the Menards Pole presented by Ansell Friday afternoon in preparation for today's inaugural Tire Kingdom 150 presented by ModSpace. In addition, Justin Marks, who qualified second, is scheduled to be a guest on today's show along with newcomer and hometown West Palm Beach favorite Blake Koch. JUPITER FL (2-24-10) - The ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards is a lot of things to a lot of people.

LONG POND, PA (2-24-10) - Chase Mattioli will be racing for the win this Saturday at Palm Beach International Raceway in the Tire Kingdom 150 in his Big Machine Records-Big Green Egg-APS Ford. But even short of a win, a top 10 finish will result in a $10,000 donation to Clearbrook; while a win makes the donation $100,000. 

Mattioli, a 20 year old Fordham University sophomore, wants to win but also wants to use himself and his race car to draw attention and raise money to help people overcome one the largest health care problem in America today, addiction.

(2-23-10) - In an anticipation of the inaugural Tire Kingdom 150 presented by ModSpace, the staff at Palm Beach Int'l Raceway is working morning, noon and night to accommodate the first appearance of the nationally touring ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards this weekend. The latest addition to the 2.034-mile, 11-turn high-speed road course is this brand new pit wall that just got poured.

JUPITER FL (2-23-10) - Craig Goess, driver of the no. 81 Greenville of North Carolina Toyota, hopes to turn his Daytona bad luck into Palm Beach good luck when the first annual Tire Kingdom 150 presented by ModSpace goes green Saturday, February 27 at Palm Beach Int'l Raceway (PBIR).

Goess is coming off a disappointing 34th place finish at Daytona after colliding with Dakoda Armstrong after Armstrong, who had cut down a tire, spun directly in front of Goess. With the Daytona mishap in the rear view mirror, Goess can't wait to get to Palm Beach to try and turn his luck around.

JUPITER FL (2-23-10) -  Florida's Blake Koch may be very well be humming the tune "Who Says You Can't Go Home" this coming week as he is scheduled to drive for the championship caliber Eddie Sharp Racing team in the February 27 Tire Kingdom 150 at the Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Florida. Koch will be behind the wheel of the Tire Kingdom sponsored Toyota for his ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards debut.

JUPITER FL (2-23-10) - Cunningham Motorsports, the team that spawned the career of Parker Kligerman, is on its way to Palm Beach Int'l Raceway where veteran Tom Hessert and rookie Dakoda Armstrong are set to take on the 2.034-mile, 11-turn road course. Both drivers tested at PBIR Monday after Daytona.......

HUNTERSVILLE, NC (2-22-10) - ARCA title contender Joey Coulter has never considered himself much of a road course racer; however, he feels as prepared as ever entering this weekend's Tire Kingdom 150 presented by ModSpace at Palm Beach International Raceway. Preparation that started long before the green flag dropped on the 2010 ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards season.

Going into his second full season on the ARCA circuit, Coulter knew he had to be prepared for the series two road course visits. Taking the initiative to improve his road course skills, Coulter signed himself up for the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Phoenix, AZ.

JUPITER FL (2-22-10) - The ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards usually has a two-month break between the Daytona opener and the next race on the schedule, but not this year. For only the second time in decades, the sanctioning body has a second race on the schedule in the month of February - the Tire Kingdom 150 presented by ModSpace at Palm Beach Int'l Raceway Saturday, February 27.

For Allgaier Motorsports driver Robb Brent, the timing is perfect.

JUPITER FL (2-17-10) - The ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards is renowned for its diversity. From Rockingham to road courses, the series, in its 58th season of competition, competes on the most diverse combination of tracks in all of motorsports. From dirt to pavement, from short tracks to superspeedways, drivers are continually challenged on every track type and configuration imaginable.

Rocklin, California's Justin Marks fits right in.

MOORESVILLE, NC (2-17-10) - Nick Igdalsky is the Senior Vice President of Pocono Raceway and South Boston Speedway. It just so happens he's also a fulltime driver on the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards tour. It also means that the grandson of Pocono patriarchs' Drs. Joe and Rose Mattioli has a lot on his plate. He's not complaining.

"This is fantastic," said Igdalsky. "ARCA's always been near and dear to my heart.

GALLIANO LA (2-16-10) - Suffice it to say that Galliano, Louisiana's Hal Martin was rooting for the New Orleans Saints in the Super Bowl. The born and bred Louisianan, who drives for Mark Gibson Racing (MGR), is also gearing up for the Mardi Gras celebration today in New Orleans.

"Since the Saints won the Super Bowl, it's just been a celebration that's extended over two weeks," said Martin. "The city's been crazy ....... electric with excitement."

Beyond the ‘excitement' of the city, Martin's next exciting adventure will be in the Tire Kingdom 150 presented by ModSpace at Palm Beach Int'l Raceway February 26 and 27.

DAYTONA BEACH FL (2-13-10) - In the ARCA ranks, restrictor plate racing is synonymous with Bobby Gerhart. And true to form this past Saturday, once his car got out front at Daytona, no one could find a way around. Despite early pit stops that had his team under the hood, Gerhart scored a convincing victory in the season-opening race that was the sixth of his career at Daytona, an ARCA record.

But despite that sixth win, Gerhart's attention this week is currently honed in on the number before it - 5.

In a car fielded by Herd Racing and Bob Schacht Motorsports, Gerhart is slated to drive in Saturday's Nationwide Series opener at Daytona.

TOLEDO OH (2-12-10) - In an ongoing effort to document the 58-year history of the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards, the research never ends.

And with the advent of new technologies, research continues to yield new information regarding ARCA's rich history. The latest discovery is a 250-mile event on a road course in Danville, Virginia won by the late Curtis Turner on April 1, 1962. Tom Flock won the pole.

CHARLOTTE NC - SPEED coverage of the ARCA Racing Series season opener from Daytona scored a Nielsen Household Rating of 2.30 (1,723,000 households), a 59-percent increase over last year's 1.45 (1,062,000 households). Highlighted by the stock car debut of Danica Patrick, race coverage peaked at 2.66 (1,997,000 households), up a stunning 72 percent from last year's peak of 1.55 (1,137,000 households).

DAYTONA BEACH FL (2-9-10) - The 47th annual Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona Int'l Speedway has come and gone. There were so many stories surrounding this year's race - from ARCA's amazing ratings boost (AKA Danica Mania) to Nelson Piquet's precarious debut. From Gerhart's record sixth triumph to Mark Thompson's comeback runner-up run. Not left off the storyline list was the eventful run from 15-time AMA Motocross champ Ricky Carmichael, who battled and bounced off Danica in the closing laps to finish seventh.

DAYTONA BEACH FL (2-8-10) - Despite the Danica Mania that commanded the majority of the attention, Lebanon, Pennsylvania veteran Bobby Gerhart out-performed and out-smarted his closest rivals during Saturday's running of the 47th Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200 at Daytona Int'l Speedway to earn a record sixth victory at the "World Center of Racing".

However, Gerhart's history-making performance wasn't the only record set on Saturday. With a major boost from Danica Patrick's stock car debut, ARCA's website - ARCAracing.com - smashed all one day records, times three.

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (February 2, 2010)--Danica Patrick has not yet been spotted in the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards Garage Area at Daytona but her JR Motorsports race team has been hard at work all day preparing the No. 7 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet for the February 6 Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200.

ARCA Officials inspected the car's motor and fuel cell on Tuesday and the technical inspection process will continue for the No. 7 Chevrolet and the 52 other ARCA teams at Daytona this weekend with a full day of tech on Wednesday. ARCA Racing Series Teams will make their first on-track appearance on Thursday.

TOLEDO, Ohio (February 2, 2010)-The ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards opened its portion of Hersey's Milk and Milkshakes Speedweeks with a Hauler Parade through the City of Daytona Beach, Florida on Tuesday morning. TOLEDO, Ohio (January 22, 2010)--Tom Hessert doesn't consider himself a seasoned veteran in the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards but with 45 career starts in the nationally touring sanctioning body he's not a raw rookie either. Hessert, who enters the 2010 ARCA Racing Series under the Cunningham Motorsports banner, a team with Penske affiliations and serious validation after leading Parker Kligerman to nine race wins and a near-championship last year, knows that the upcoming season may prove to be his break out year.

Win-Tron Racing Launches a Championship Caliber Effort with a Driver Looking to Make a Home in ARCA
TOLEDO, Ohio (January 21, 2010)- Win-Tron Racing has become synonymous with the words "driver development" in the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards, earning back-to-back Rookie of the Year titles with Joey Miller in 2005 and Blake Bjorklund in 2006 and helping to launch the NASCAR careers of drivers such as James Buescher. But the team will switch focus in 2010, enlisting the help of veteran Series competitor Justin Marks to focus on "championship development".

TOLEDO, Ohio (January 20, 2010)- There is no cookie cutter template to follow when chasing down an ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards Championship but Eddie Sharp Racing comes pretty close. The team, led by veteran car owner and former driver Eddie Sharp, has been in the championship hunt the last three years running and embarks on the 2010 season with second-year driver Craig Goess ready, willing and able to capitalize on last year's successes.

TOLEDO, Ohio (January 19, 2010)-In the December 10, 2009 edition of NASCAR Scene both Parker Kligerman and Justin Lofton are listed among the publication's top-10 Drivers of the Next Decade. Kligerman (No. 4 on the list, 19 years old) and Lofton (No. 8 on the list, 23 years old) battled each other for the ARCA Racing Series championship throughout the 2009 race season with Lofton edging out Kligerman for the championship by a slim, five-point margin to produce the third-closest final points spread in ARCA history.
