(DuQUOIN, Ill. - September 6, 2010) - Steve Arpin handed Venturini Motorsports its first ever ARCA Racing Series presented
by RE/MAX and Menards victory on dirt with a convincing performance Monday afternoon in the 58th running of the Southern Illinois
100 at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds.
|
(DuQUOIN, Ill. - September 6, 2010) - Galesburg, Illinois driver AJ Fike, in his own No. 10 RFMS-Liberty Village Ford, earned
the Menards Pole presented by Ansell Monday afternoon at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds in DuQuoin, Illinois. Fike edged veteran
Ken Schrader for the pole in the final moments of qualifying, circling the historic one-mile dirt track in 33.130 seconds
for an average speed of 108.663 mph. "Everyone on the RFMS-Liberty Village Ford has been working hard all day," said Fike,
who won the pole at DuQuoin in '07 and '09. "We've been pretty good all day here in practice. We made a few adjustments
for qualifying and they worked. That's two poles in a row for us in here in DuQuoin. We've been really good here
in the past. We've just come up a little short every time. Hopefully today will be our day."
|
(DuQUOIN, Ill - September 6, 2010) - Steve Arpin, in the Mike's Hard Lemonade Chevrolet, was fastest in practice here Monday
on the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds mile-dirt. Arpin circled the one-mile horse track in 33.611 seconds, an average speed of

(DuQUOIN, Ill. - September 6, 2010) - The day starts early here at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds where ARCA Racing Series
rigs are setting up shop for the day in preparation of this afternoon's 58th running of the Southern Illinois 100 on the "Magic

activity today including practice from 10-11:00 AM ET, Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell at 12 Noon ET and the race
at 2:00 PM ET. Craig Goess leads a very tight championship points battle, five points in front of five-time DuQuoin winner
Frank Kimmel, and 10 points in front of Patrick Sheltra in third.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - September 5, 2010) - The ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards returns to its home track next
weekend, the half-mile Toledo Speedway in Toledo, Ohio. Just miles from the series' headquarters in Temperance, Mich. and
located firmly in a hotbed of Ohio racing tradition, Toledo Speedway serves a reminder of the roots of the ARCA Racing Series.
|
(MOORESVILLE, N.C. - September 4, 2010) - As fans trickle through the gates of the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds early Monday,
they will be drawn toward the No. 31 white and black machine as it prepares for the Southern Illinois 100 presented by Federated
Car Care. For some, the allure of the fair is funnel cake. For others, it's a ride on the Ferris wheel. But for Tim George
Jr., it is the celebration of the nostalgia of the rich history of racing on dirt. |

(MOORESVILLE, N.C. - September 3, 2010) - DuQuoin's one-mile
dirt oval is no ordinary racetrack. Known as the "Magic Mile," it is a place filled with rich racing history. Boasting
an impressive list of racing legends among its former winners, the DuQuoin dirt mile's list of champions include names such
as Jerry Unser, Fred Lorenzen, AJ Foyt, Rusty Wallace, Tony Stewart, Ken Schrader and nine-time ARCA Racing Series champion,
Frank Kimmel. |
With the championship points battle as close as
it is, it's looking more and more like it's going to come down to the final event of 2010 season at Rockingham Speedway Saturday,
October 9th. Fortunately, for the first time at the historic high-banked mile oval, tickets for the ARCA American 200
season finale are now available online at RockinghamSpeedway.com.

(DuQUOIN, Ill. - September 3, 2010) - Welcome to the Patrick Sheltra school of dirt track racing. And if you're wondering
how to powerslide a 3400-lb steel tank around a corner on a mile dirt track, then you may want to consult with Sheltra, who does it as well as anyone,
and arguably better than most. |

(TOLEDO, Ohio - August 30, 2010) - The separation of four drivers by a mere 25 points atop the ARCA Racing Series presented

After 15 races, however, such a small range among contenders is an indication of major competition.
|
(MONTREAL, Canada - August 29, 2010) - A sixth-place finish in Friday's Ansell Protective Gloves 150 at Chicagoland Speedway may have been enough for a typical driver in the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX
and Menards, but it was just the beginning of the weekend for Justin Marks. Marks will start 28th in today's NASCAR Nationwide

over Steve Arpin. Sheltra became the second driver with multiple victories and back-to-back victories this year, joining Arpin.
|
(JOLIET, Ill. - August 27, 2010) - Joey Coulter (No. 16 Rip It Energy Fuel/Darrell Gwynn Foundation Chevrolet) leads the pursuit
of the prestigious season-within-a-season Bill France Four Crown Award, which rewards ARCA Racing Series drivers for success
on a diverse slate of tracks. The season-within-a-season contest will be decided in tonight's Ansell Protective Gloves 150 at Chicagoland Speedway. |
(JOLIET, Ill. - August 27, 2010) - Craig Goess became just the second driver this season to win multiple pole awards in the
ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards, driving a lap around the 1.5-mile Chicagoland Speedway in 30.380 seconds
(177.749 mph) to win the Menards Pole Award presented by Ansell. Patrick Sheltra will join Goess on the front row for this
evening's Ansell Protective Gloves 150. |

|
(JOLIET, Ill. - August 26, 2010) - Craig Goess posted the fastest time in last week's ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX

|
(JOLIET, Ill. - August 26, 2010) - Just five points away from the lead in the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards,
Tom Hessert is the closest he's ever been in three full seasons to the top of the standings. In Friday's Ansell Protective
Gloves 150, however, lies a major challenge.
Statistically, Chicagoland Speedway is Hessert's worst track on the ARCA
schedule. In 2008, Hessert started 21st and finished 30th for owner Andy Belmont in his first race at the 1.5-mile Joliet
oval. Hessert improved last year for owner Eddie Sharp, but only to the tune of a 25th-place finish. |
(DAWSONVILLE, Ga. - August 26, 2010) - ARCA Racing Series rising racing star Casey Roderick is
set to make the next big step in his racing career this weekend as he takes on the 1.5-mile Chicagoland Speedway in Friday's Ansell Protective Gloves 150.
Roderick, the former Legends champion from Lawrenceville,
Ga., enters the race fresh off his first career ARCA victory at New Jersey Motorsports Park on August 15.

than the road course at New Jersey. |

(TOLEDO, Ohio - August 25, 2010) - Ansell, the worldwide leader in protective hand wear, will serve as the title sponsor of

Rain
or Shine, ARCA Series Stock Cars are Headed Road Course Racing at New Jersey Motorsports Park August 14 & 15
Rain or shine, the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards is going road course racing at New Jersey Motorsports
Park (NJMP) Sunday afternoon, August 15th. The third annual Garden State 150 presented by American Red Cross
is scheduled to get the green flag at 1:00 p.m. EST regardless of any inclement weather. With the combination
of the purpose-built Hoosier 'wet' tire and a commitment from the series to race in the rain if need be, ticket buyers can
be confident they'll witness a high-speed, competitive ARCA Series stock car race on the track's 2.25-mile Thunderbolt Raceway
road course. In fact, the Hoosier 'wet' tire came into play earlier this year on the Palm Beach Int'l Raceway
(PBIR) road course in Jupiter, Florida where Justin Marks, driving for Win Tron Racing in the Construct Corps Dodge, drove
to victory lane in a driving rain storm that lasted for most of the event. While the victory was momentous for
Marks - his career first - it was arguably even more momentous for the series itself. The event marked the first time in
the 58-year history of the ARCA Series that it competed in the rain when precipitation hit just 20 laps into the event. Steve
Arpin, the first to come down pit road for rain tires, triggered the historic moment and the majority of the teams followed
Arpin's cue and steered for pit road for rain tires. From there, teams raced in the rain for the next 50 laps before monsoon-like
rains engulfed the PBIR course during which series officials stopped the race on lap 70, just five laps shy of the intended
mark. Further, just three cautions for nine laps - one of which occurred before the rain - slowed the event. "Based
upon the feedback we got from both the teams and Hoosier, we were very pleased with the performance of the new rain tire,"
commented Joe Wells, ARCA VP of Competition. "The event at Palm Beach was truly a historic day for our series. We are certainly
prepared to do the same, if necessary, at New Jersey Motorsports Park." Race winner Marks, a road racing veteran
with experience in SCCA regional and national road racing, Speed World Challenge GT Championship, Touring Car, Grand-Am Cup
and the Rolex Sports Car Series, also commented on the experience. "It was awesome - great rain tire," Marks
explained. "Hoosier has always built a good rain tire. This tire was very consistent. It had great grip. What is great about
it is that when you have Hoosier rain tires, you worry about driving the car, finding grip on the racetrack and having good
rain racetrack, you never worry about the tire. You never have to worry about driving around on an ill-handling tire. It's
just consistent and you know it's going to be there for you." ARCA's Rich Road Course History Dates Back to 1958 Although
it was ARCA's first experience racing in the rain, it certainly was not the first road course appearance for ARCA. ARCA made
its road course debut in 1958 at the now-defunct Meadowdale Raceway in Carpentersville, Illinois where Fred Lorenzen earned
the victory. In addition to Lorenzen, ARCA's road course history holds an elite group of winners including Nelson Stacy (Meadowdale/1960),
Curtis Turner (Virginia Int'l Raceway/1962), Elmer Musgrave (Meadowdale/1964), Jack Bowsher (Mid Ohio Sports Car Course/1965),
Bob Schacht/St. Louis Int'l Raceway/1986), Ken Schrader (Heartland Park Topeka KS/1991), Darrell Waltrip (Heartland Park/1992),
Scott Lagasse, Sr. (Des Moines Grand Prix/1994), John Finger (Watkins Glen Int'l/2001), Justin Allgaier (New Jersey Motorsports
Park/2008), Patrick Long (New Jersey/2009) and Justin Marks (Palm Beach Int'l Raceway/2010). New Jersey Motorsports
Park has established itself as the most prolific road course in ARCA history by hosting the series event for the 3rd consecutive
season in 2010.
