No driver is expected to be completely confident about the half-mile Concord Speedway. The track's eccentricities make it
a difficult stop for veterans and rookies alike. USAR Pro Cup Series rookie Logan Ruffin, admittedly, isn't an exception;
however, you would have never noticed it by the level of comfort the Memphis, Tenn. native had with his Turner Motorsports
Chevrolet this past Saturday night in the Cabarrus Boys & Girls Club 250. Ruffin, an astute qualifier as of late,
placed his No. 31 Chevrolet inside the second row during the day's time trial session. Starting third at the infamously tricky
track proved to be a coup for Ruffin, who ran inside the top five until an aluminum oil fitting broke, forcing the car to
drop oil onto the track. The issue prompted two black flag penalties inside the final 20 laps.

Chase Elliott Wins PASS Race in Racing's Return to North Wilkesboro by Mike Neff
The
first competitive lap turned at North Wilkesboro in 14 years was led by Jesse Little, who jumped from his outside front row
starting spot to beat his dad Mack Little to the start finish line. Mack battled back and passed Jesse to take the lead
before the completion of lap five. He led the remainder of the laps to take the win in the first race held at NWS since 1996,
a limited Late Model race preceding the PASS Super Late Model 200. Buck Harris overcame Jesse with six laps to go and came
home second, with Ryan Robertson and Andy Favre getting by Jesse during the final lap to finish third and fourth. Mack
Little’s car was placed on the motorized lift next to the NWS media center and rolled onto the top of the building,
which serves as the Victory Lane for the facility. It is the first car since Jeff Gordon’s car in 1996 to grace the
top of the building. The Stadium Stock race was led from the drop of the green flag by the No. 03 car of Randy Freeze.
With five laps to go, he was passed by the No. 1 of Wayne Hill, who then was unable to fend off the No. 31 of Michael Tucker.
The No. 1 made a final hard charge heading into turn three on the final lap, but the No. 31 was able to clear him and hold
on to take the checkered flag. In the Allison Legacy Series race, the namesake of the founders, Justin Allison, took
off from the pole to take the early lead in the 35 lap race. He was doggedly pursued by the No. 50 of Garrett Bunch and the
No. 56 of Gus Dean. Bunch got to the inside on Allison and the two ran side-by-side for four laps before he was finally able
to swing up in front of the No. 1 on the exit of turn four to take the lead with 18 laps to go. The No. 97 car then
proceeded to bring out three caution flags. On the restart with five laps to go, Dean dove under Bunch and made slight contact
with the No. 50, causing Bunch to spin up the track. He was then clipped hard in the front by the No. 27 of Justin LaDuke,
which removed most of the front of the car. Bunch pitted, had the rest of his sheet metal removed, and went back out. When
the restart occurred, he lost a quarter panel and produced another caution flag. The pack came to the flag one last time,
and the No. 56 took off and never looked back. Dean crossed the start/finish line first, followed by Allison, Tyler Hill and
Bobby McCarty. Then came the feature race. The green flag dropped at North Wilkesboro just after 4:00 pm on a 79 degree
day without a cloud in the sky. It was probably so clear so God could make sure he had a clear view of all of the racing.
Jody Lavender took the lead on the very first lap from the pole position. He had qualified ninth, but drew the pole
when the top 10 qualifiers drew for position before the start of the race. The fastest two cars in qualifying, Andy Loden
and Chase Elliott, drew 10th and ninth, but quickly raced up to sixth and seventh within four laps. Lavender continued to
lead through the first 50 laps with Devin Jones running in second place. By lap 50 Elliott, had gotten right to the
back bumper of Jones and turned up the wick. Loden was right behind, although he had to work a little harder because he got
bottled up behind Ryan Blaney on a restart and lost three positions. Blaney worked his way past Loden on lap 73 to take fourth
place, while Elliott appeared to be turning up the heat a little bit more on Jones. On lap 85, Elliott finally got his nose
far enough under Jones going into turn three that he was able to complete the pass and take over second place. He quickly
pulled away from Jones, who was almost immediately under pressure from Blaney. Loden returned the pass on Blaney on lap 92
to regain fourth place and quickly began to assault Jones for third. By lap 94 he was around Jones into third. The
halfway mark of the race found Jody Lavender in the lead as he’d been since the drop of the green flag. Elliott was
in second with Loden in third. Jones and Blaney were nearly tied together for fourth and fifth. Rounding out the top 10 at
the halfway point were Alex Fleming, Jimmy Weller, Joey Coulter, Corey Williams and Jay Fogleman. They were the only cars
on the lead lap at lap 100. Blaney took fourth from Jones two laps past halfway. After an extensive green flag run
from lap 34 to 128, the caution flag flew. Everyone but Preston Peltier came to the pits. The race restarted on lap 129 with
Elliott leading Lavender behind two lap down cars. Coulter was third, Jones fourth and Corey Williams fifth. On the restart,
Coulter got past Lavender for second place while Elliott dispensed with the two lap down cars and set sail. Lavender
passed Coulter just past three quarter distance to move into second place, but trailed race leader Elliott by a straight.
Jones got past Williams for fourth at nearly the same time and Loden had battled from his rear of the field restarting position
to run fifth. With 40 laps to go the drivers began to pick up the intensity. Before the race they all noted that the 40-50
lap to go mark was when it would be time to really push their equipment. Loden was pushing hard to catch Williams while Jones
stuck his nose under Coulter going into one to take over third place. While Loden looked to make up ground it appeared
as though his tires were giving up, as car was beginning to slide further up the track in the corners. Elliott continued to
maintain almost a straight lead over Lavender, who was nearly half a straight ahead of Jones. With laps winding down Coulter
began to slow more and Williams closed in to his back bumper on lap 170. Loden was not too far behind while Elliott artfully
worked his way through the lapped traffic and Lavender tried in vain to make up any ground. With 14 laps to go, Brandon
Ward made hard contact with the wall between turns one and two and brought out the caution. None of the lead lap cars came
into the pits during the caution period. The lead lap cars moved to the front of the pack for the restart with Elliott leading
Lavender, Jones, Coulter, Williams, Loden, Fleming and Ramstrom. On the restart, Lavender beat Elliott to the line
by a car length and Coulter pulled up next to him for two laps. Preston Peltier spun coming out of four and brought out another
caution. The restart shaped up with Lavender and Elliott on the front row with 10 laps to go. Coulter and Loden were in row
two, Williams and Fleming in row three. Lavender jumped out to the lead again, but Elliott caught him on the backstretch and
rode side by side through three and four and back through one and two before clearing him on the next lap at the flag stand.
Loden moved into third with Coulter fourth. Elliott slowly stretched the lead out from there. Loden tried hard to
make the outside work like it did for Elliott but was unable to make it stick well enough to get on the outside of Lavender.
Elliott brought it home first, something his father was never able to do at North Wilkesboro. Lavender was second, Loden third,
Coulter fourth and Jones fifth. Racing officially returned to North Wilkesboro today, in front of a crowd somewhere
between 7,000 and 12,000 people depending on whose estimate you believe. The PASS South series ran 200 laps and crowned Chase
Elliott as the winner. It took one hour forty seven minutes and fifty six seconds to complete with only green flag laps counting.
Eight drivers finished on the lead lap and 25 cars started the race. It was 14 years ago that Jeff Gordon took the checkered
flag at the track and 16 years ago that Ernie Irvan set the track record. Both of those events were eclipsed today when Elliott
took the checkered and Andy Loden set a new track record. For the complete, final rundown visit www.proallstarseries.com.

that. However, he also knows that determination can lead you almost anywhere, and for the Mac Hill Motorsports (MHM) driver;
the “d” word blasted the Bluffton, South Carolina native to a third place finish in the Cabarrus Boys & Girls

was no easy task but he was hoping that with the minds and mentality surrounding his Mooresville, North Carolina-based team,
their confidence would turn into ability on the track. Mac Hill Motorsports rented the legendary short track up for
a private test session on Friday which allowed the MHM operation to shake down their Impala and prepare for Saturday night’s

2007 USAR Season at the half-mile, high-banked tri-oval Saturday night. The Floyd, Va. native, took the lead from reigning
Series Champion, Clay Rogers, on Lap 204 and set sail on the field. When the checkered flag fell, Agnew led the field by 3.078
seconds over second-place finisher, Caleb Holman. “Well I think its well deserved for the team, they’ve
worked really hard,” said Agnew. “We’ve had a really good car all year, we just missed it a little bit.
I don’t know if I could have done anything with Caleb [Holman] if he had got by Clay [Rogers] up here.” The
driver of the No. 75 Food Country USA Chevrolet, Caleb Holman, started the Cabarrus Boys & Girls Club 250 from the pole
for the second time this season. Holman, of Abingdon, Va., dominated the first half of the race, leading 127 of 250 laps.

The 2010 USARacing Pro Cup Series Championship Series is set to kick off this weekend at a track which has been the site
for many Pro Cup races over the years. As the originator of a Championship Playoff format for a racing series back in 2001,
this year there will be 5 races to determine the 2010 Pro Cup Series Champion. Defending series Champion, Clay Rogers, is
gunning for his fourth title.
The good news for the field of drivers chasing Rogers is that the points reset chopped his lead down to a mere 15 points over second place Logan Ruffin. The bad news is that the first championship race
is at Concord and for all intents and purposes, Clay owns the place! He has ten starts, with three wins to his credit. He's
led the most laps of any Pro Cup driver at Concord Speedway and has an amazing 3.90 average finishing position over those
ten races. He's tied with Bobby Gill for the most wins and leads all drivers with the most poles, top 5's, top 10's, and has
zero DNF's. If the rest of the drivers want a shot at the title, they need to make a statement at Concord because it certainly
looks like Rogers already has!
Pro Cup races at Concord have shown a trend for the race winner to come from a top 5 starting spot more times than not
and they have never been won by someone outside the top 10 when the field takes the green. Considering how fast, challenging,
and potentially hazardous the track is, that's a bit of a surprise, at least to us! Things happen in a hurry at Concord and
can ruin your night before you have a chance to make it to victory lane. Caution flags seem to fly between 10-14 times per
race.

Club 250 at Concord Speedway quickly approaches, Farbo is hard at work preparing his race car and rallying the funding he
needs to race. “It’s extremely disheartening to be stuck on the sidelines without a sponsor,” said
Trevor. “I lost quite a bit of my own money after blowing that last motor, and I have been unable to find a marketing
partner that would allow me to go racing again.” Despite the lack of any outside sponsorship, this youngster
is absolutely determined to race; even if it means making significant personal sacrifices.

on August 28, all bets for the 2010 Championship are off. Langley Speedway marked the last race before the point standings

Clay Rogers, who led the regular season standings by 267 points, will head to Concord with 180 points after the reset. Rogers,
of Mooresville, N.C. will make his 10th start at the .5-mile track Saturday, just 15 points ahead of second-place Logan Ruffin.

28th race will also mark Ruffin’s first USAR Pro Cup Series start at the high-banked asphalt tri-oval. The Rookie-of-the-Year

Perseverance Paid Off for Tyler Young

Contributed by: Admin
Perseverance paid off handsomely for Tyler Young and the Randco Industries/ Manpower to Horsepower Chevy at Langley Speedway
Saturday August 14. After making progress all day with a race car that was tight on the throttle during practice,
the crew made additional changes before the start of the Need For Speed 250. After a 13th place qualifying run crew chief
Greg Ely decided to take a penalty and make additional changes on the car before the race started. Those changes paid off
as for the first time all day Tyler reported his car to be “edgy” loose on the throttle. Tyler broke into the
top 10 on lap 8 and remained there the rest of the evening. On the first caution on lap 41 the crew quickly added
a little wedge to the Left Rear to let Tyler be more aggressive on the throttle. As the race continued Tyler reported he might
feel more comfortable now, but the car was faster before, “Can we split the difference?” On a Lap 78 caution
the crew did just that and topped the fuel tank off. 110 laps later Tyler got the caution he was needing in order to stop
and take his tires. Reporting his car to be very drivable Tyler felt ready to do battle over the last 70 laps.

By Lindsey Holman Abingdon, VA. (August 15, 2010) – After a much struggling and trying time at Henderson Motorsports the past couple of
races, Caleb Holman holds off some late race craziness and brings home the third win of the year. Holman qualified third for the Hampton, VA Need For Speed 250 at Langley Speedway on Saturday
afternoon behind Clay Rogers and Logan Ruffin. Holman proved that he was there to make a statement staying within the top
five the whole race. Crew chief, Kenny Hunley, made the call to take gas on lap 77 along with a track bar adjustment,
then Holman came back down pit road on lap 119 for tires. The Food Country USA crew sent Holman back out in the third position
pulling of another one of their awesome stops, like they have been doing all year. “I can’t say enough
about our guys. We have had the same group of guys since we’ve started racing in this series and I believe that is a
testament of how well they work together. I have to give them a lot of the credit”, said Holman.

HAMPTON, Va. (Aug. 14) — Fifteen laps from the scheduled conclusion of Saturday evening’s Hampton VA “Need
For Speed” 250 USARacing Pro Cup Series race at Langley Speedway, Caleb Holman found himself in fifth place, wheeling
an uncooperative race car and just wishing the event would hurry up and end.
Four caution flags and 15 laps of “overtime” later, though, the Abingdon, Va., driver found himself parked
in Victory Lane, hoisting his third checkered flag of the season and marveling at his good fortune.
Series points leader Clay Rogers, who dominated Langley’s Memorial Day weekend Pro Cup race, picked up where he left
off in qualifying for Saturday’s event, nabbing the pole position with an 83.662-mph effort. Logan Ruffin was second-fastest,
followed by Holman, Benny Gordon and Jeff Agnew.
As the race got under way, Rogers inched ahead of Ruffin and led by half a car-length at the end of lap 1. He cleared Ruffin’s
#31 machine in Turns 1 and 2 on lap 2. Ruffin settled into second, followed by Holman, Gordon and Lucas Ransone.
The first caution flag appeared on lap 9 when Danny Abold spun into Turn 1 and collected Matt Lofton. READ MORE

Unfortunately the MitiGator Ford Fusion encountered its first wreck of the season last week, but repairs are underway!
At our last race at Iowa Speedway the MitiGator Ford Fusion was caught up in a wreck on the opening lap. Someone missed a shift in front of us and we had no
where to go and was caught up in a multi-car accident. Luckily my seat had been equipped with the MitiGator Cushioning system,
so I didnt even come out with a bruise!
This week has been spent cutting off the wrecked body parts and getting everything ready for our next race at Concord Speedway
on August 28th. Good news is it appears to be purely cosmetic, meaning there is no harm that has been done to the chassis.
It just needs a new nose, hood and left front fender and some bracing and she’ll be back at the track!
During the event at Concord you will be able to tune in live, and watch the event from the Gibson Motorsports Pit. You
will also be able to listen to live in-race communication between the Gibson Motorsports crew. Our Last webcast had over 500 viewers! Tune into MitiGatorinc.com at 7:30 p.m. on August 28th to watch live!

By Amanda Earle, USARacing CONCORD, N.C. (August 9, 2010)- Clay Rogers looks to sweep Langley Speedway this weekend,
August 14, 2010, in the Hampton, Va. NEED FOR SPEED 250. Rogers, of Mooresville, N.C., has six wins this season, the last
four consecutive. His latest win came at Iowa Speedway on July 30 under red flag conditions due to heavy fog. Earlier
this season, Rogers driver of the No. 16 USG Sheetrock Ford, took the checkered flag at Langley after leading all but four
laps. A.J. Frank, of Bluffton, S.C., was the only driver to pass Rogers for the lead on Lap 145. On Lap 149 Rogers took the
lead back and maintained it until he crossed the finish line. Rogers will battle fellow drivers such as Raybestos
Rookie-of-the-Year points leader, Logan Ruffin, who finished second earlier this year at Langley, to sweep the race. Ruffin,
of Memphis, Teen., is hungry for a win coming off a third-place finish at Iowa Speedway in July. He sits 254 points behind
Rogers but leads in the Rookie-of-the-Year standings by 145 points over Ryan Heavner. Out of the eight races so far this season,
Ruffin has only finished outside of the Top 10 in two races, New Smyrna and Rockingham Speedways.

The Modified Racing Series continued their summer racing competition traveling to eastern Maine and Beech Ridge Motor Speedway.
The track is a one-third oval that is racy and provided a lot of challenges for drivers and teams alike. I think that Veteran
Charlie Pasteryak summed it up the best after Heat Racing completed. “Wow that is a tough one. I will let you know how
it is when I figure the track out.” But talented Ken Barry who has been here years ago with the NASCAR Whelen Modified
Tour (NWMT) had a plan. And he was more than ready to try it out when race time came around. He knew his car was good after
practice so it was a matter of reigning in the driver (himself) and keeping in control the desire to jump to the front too
fast....Full Story |

Rogers will battle fellow drivers such as Raybestos Rookie-of-the-Year
points leader, Logan Ruffin, who finished second earlier this year at Langley, to sweep the race. Ruffin, of Memphis, Teen.,
is hungry for a win coming off a third-place finish at Iowa Speedway in July. He sits 254 points behind Rogers but leads in
the Rookie-of-the-Year standings by 145 points over Ryan Heavner. Out of the eight races so far this season, Ruffin has only
finished outside of the Top 10 in two races, New Smyrna and Rockingham Speedways.
Engine Woes Cost Johanna a Top-Five Run at Iowa

With a weekend off in between her first two NASCAR Camping World Truck series starts behind the wheel of the Billy Ballew
Motorsports #15 Toyota, Johanna Long and her family team packed up and made the trek from Pensacola, Florida to Newton, Iowa,
to compete in the Blue Ox 150 USARacing Pro Cup Series event at Iowa Speedway Saturday night. Weather issues at the
new facility forced the Pro Cup teams to line up by points, which meant that Long would have to start 16th due to only having made one start in the series in 2010 prior to Iowa. The speedy teen did not hang around
in the back of the pack for long, however, as she was already up inside the top-10 thanks to early cautions and a fast racecar
in the opening laps. Long was knocking on the door of a top-five spot when the engine inside her #10 machine failed, knocking
her out of the event.
Brandon Sweet and FRE Seek Sponsorship to Return to the Track

It has been a roller coaster ride for young superstar Brandon Sweet and Freeman Racing Enterprises so far in the 2010 racing
season. The summer started out with some testing in the USAR Pro Cup cars and
five races in the Pro Cup series, with the highlight of the season being a top ten finish at the famed Rockingham Speedway.
A move to NC for half the summer
worked out well for the team as they learned a lot and met several key people needed in the advancement of Brandon and Freeman
Racing Enterprises. Mr. Freeman, owner of Freeman Racing Enterprises agreed last
fall to purchase the equipment and fund the first four races of the season. Like
most of us, once it got in his blood he found it very difficult to not fund more of the races, so he funded the fifth race
as well.

CONCORD, N.C. (August 5, 2010)–One historic event deserves another. While the Brushy Mountain Apple Festival
has been a must see event in Wilkes County, N.C., for years, the county’s racing history – dating back to the
moonshine days and the birth of NASCAR – has been on a 14-year hiatus. Once home to nationally televised stock
car racing events at North Wilkesboro Speedway, the track has sat dormant for more than a decade. Thanks to a new ownership
group and national attention, the speedway comes into focus again on the weekend of October 3. The Apple Festival weekend
will see the return of the Fall “Triple Header” which includes open wheel modified competition. Speedway officials
confirmed the addition of a 100-lap Modified race and a 50-lap Street Stock race in conjunction with the Brushy Mountain 250
USARacing Pro Cup Series Championship race on Sunday, October 3, 2010.

CONCORD, N.C. (Aug. 4, 2010)- It’s back. Greenville-Pickens Speedway returns to the USARacing Pro Cup Series in a big way in 2010, hosting the fourth race in the Championship
Series. The 250-lap event is scheduled for Saturday, October 9 and replaces the date originally scheduled for Gresham (Jefferson,
Ga.) Motorsports Park. Located in Greenville, S.C., the half-mile speedway hosts its first Pro Cup Series event since
2005 and fourth overall. Three different drivers have won each of the three previous races. Keith Cochran, Media and
Public Relations Director for the speedway, said he is happy to host the race. Series tire supplier BFGoodrich is based in
Greenville, which Cochran says makes the event a natural fit for all involved. “It’s jut a win-win for
the speedway and the series,” Cochran said. “ This agreement with the USARacing puts the Pro Cup Series back in
the Palmetto State and brings this top national touring series home. It demonstrates the importance of the upstate South Carolina
marketplace.”

After a very late race start for track drying and a series of complete restarts for accidents on lap 1 to begin the race,
it seemed only fitting that the end of the race would not be a thing of beauty either. With about 30 laps to go, conditions
became so hazardous due to a lack of visibility, that spotters and teams could barely see the track. Some said it was fog,
some said it was smoke from all of the campfires around the track. Whatever the reason, the field was brought to pit road
under red flag conditions on lap 121 and shortly after that, USAR Officials were forced call the race and declared Clay Rogers
and his #16 Lamb & Robinson Motorsports Team the victors at Iowa Speedway. A late race battle with A.J. Frank in
the #56 SpeedCo Chevy, found Rogers losing the lead after pit stops and finally passing Frank on lap 81. Rogers had a commanding
lead for the majority of the race prior to pit stops, where he lost a spot or two. Part of the reason for losing spots may
be attributed to the fact that many members of Rogers' regular pit crew were unable to make it to the track after flight cancellations
hampered their trip. The win is Rogers 5th in a row and 6th of the season as he continues to dominate in his first
season with the L&R team. A.J. Frank would remain in second, followed by a pack of young drivers. Logan Ruffin, Ryan Heavner,
and Chase Elliott would round out the top 5. J.P. Morgan, the defending race winner, finished 6th and was the final car on
the lead lap. Tyler Young brought his #02 home in 7th, one lap down.

We're not at the track this race so we can't give you any updates about tonight's race. We have been checking the Official
Series website and various Facebook sites for news. The most we can provide right now is that is might be raining again, they
got some practice in today but not as much as scheduled, that there are 22 cars in the garage area, and that qualifying might
be canceled and the lineup will be by points.
Here is what I think is the currently active Facebook page for the series

NASCAR WHELEN MODIFIED TOUR |
A Modified track since well before the formation of the Whelen Modified Tour, Riverhead has been on the schedule in each of
the Tour's 26 years of existence. Only Connecticut's Thompson International Speedway can claim the same distinction. After
competing at the Monadnock Speedway quarter mile in New Hampshire on July 17, the Whelen Modified Tour's next stop will also
be at a .25-mile oval. Aside from the distance, there are few similarities as Riverhead has less banking and is more narrow than Monadnock. In addition to the uniqueness of the track, the Riverhead stop for the
Whelen Modified Tour is also set apart from other events on the schedule as a number of Riverhead's weekly NASCAR Whelen All-American
Series competitors enter the race, and they've had measurable success....Full Story Statistical Advance |

EXCITEMENT FILLS THE GARAGE AS PAST WINNER J.P. MORGAN RETURNS TO IOWA

By Elizabeth Kitts, USARacing CONCORD, N.C. (July 19, 2010)- There is plenty of buzz and excitement around J.P. Morgan’s
garage these days. And it can be summed up in two words: Iowa Speedway. Morgan and the No. 23 team are eager to hit
the track for the July 30, USARacing Pro Cup Series event. He is the defending race winner, capturing the 2009 race by 1.341
seconds over second-place finisher Drew Herring and says competing at the 0.875-mile speedway is on another level from the
other tracks in the series. “It feels awesome,” said Morgan about returning to Iowa, “I’m excited
and the team is.” For Morgan, the most exciting part about racing at Iowa is the high speeds the track carries.
“That track is about the perfect size,” Morgan said. “It’s not so big that on the straightaways
you’re resting. Every time you can go fast, that’s what it’s about. The garage is awesome and everyone treats
you great. Fans come out in droves and that makes everything special.”
