FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE…
Jimmy Horton Has Banner Night at New Egypt
New
Egypt, NJ (May 22, 2010) – Jimmy Horton of Neshanic, NJ picked up his first victory of the season at New Egypt
Speedway on Saturday night as he captured the 30 lap Banner Night feature event sponsored by Roma Bank. Horton, who
started 7th, grabbed the lead on lap 14 from David Van Horn and never looked back. The victory was the 17th at New Egypt
for Horton.
“We had to come up with a new gameplan,” stated Horton very matter of factly, “We
have had a very slow start. I think we changed everything on the car but the number.”
David Van Horn grabbed the lead at the start of the event driving Brian Truppi’s #02 and controlled
the early part of the event chased by Ron John Koczon, Frank Cozze Jr. and Horton. Thru the first ten laps Van Horn
pulled away at will, but then Horton began to track him down and finally on lap 14 a turn 4 slider put him in the lead.
Once in front, It was all Horton as he pulled away with ease leaving everyone else to battle for second. The final five
laps saw Van Horn’s car start to go away as he began to fade, as a late race charge by Keith Hoffman put him second
at the checkered. Billy Pauch, who looked like he would not crack the top five did was he does best, that is get the
most he can get out of what he has and still make it work as he ended up third by pure determination. Bobby Drayton had
a great run all night long and ended up fourth followed by Van Horn who hung on for a top five finish.
Jim Housworth won the Crate-1 Sportsman 20 lap feature, taking the lead with 3 laps to go, then surviving
a late race restart holding off Bill Martino to capture the victory. Martino was second followed by John Micek, Dan
Mazy and Kyle Borrer.
In the Tobias Speedsters, Richie Tobias won easily as he had everyone covered
on this night. The race was shortened to 16 laps when Rain hit the speeday. Former NES hotshoe Mario Page did a great
job finishing 2nd while 358-Modified standout Rick Schaffer drove home third. Tyler Potts and DJ Marci rounded out the
top five.
The Fastrak Late Models saw Mick Search his first of the year by a slight margin. PJ Oliver finished
second, followed by Steve Davis, Tony Giglio and Alessa Young. .
The Advantage Financial/Cradle Rock Developers
Rookie Sportsman entered week six tonight, and Jarret Rozycki won his second feature of the year over Bill Lester and
Dave Damiano.
Next Saturday night, May 29th, New Egypt Speedway will pay tribute to the Military with the fan favorite
Twin 20’s for the Big-Block Modifieds. Sportsman, Outlaw Stocks and Rookie Sportsman are all also in action. Gates
open at 4:00 p.m. with the first race starting at 6:00 pm. For more information, call the speedway office at (609) 758-1900

(Thanks Nick-Pete ! ) :NEWS FROM NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY Route 539, New Egypt, NJ Track Phone: 609-758-1900
Contact: Pete Wortman, PR Director 732-222-1261 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE… Pauch Wins 2nd on Wild Night at New Egypt New
Egypt, NJ (May 15, 2010) – In a wild night where anything could, and did happen, Billy Pauch of Frenchtown, NJ picked
up his second feature win of the young season in the 30-lap Modified feature on Saturday night, sponsored by Roemer
Racing. Pauch had to qualify thru the B-Main for the second straight week, however this was just a minor setback for
New Egypt’s all-time leading feature winner, as he won the 83rd of his career. Frank Cozze Jr. was the story for
the most of the event before a tangle with a disabled car two laps from the finish took him out of contention.
David Van Horn started on the pole and brought the field to green taking immediate command. Lap 3 saw Defending champ
and current point leader Rick Laubach stop on the speedway, done for the evening with mechanical woes. Two laps later
with the caution back on for Keith Hoffman who was broke, leader Van Horn pulled it pit side as his night was also finished.
The restart found Frank Cozze Jr. grabbing the point and pulling away from the field. All eyes were now focusing on
his dad, Frank Cozze, as he entered the top five by lap 10, after starting 18th. Cozze reeled in his son and began to challenge
for the lead, but young Cozze was up to the challenge as he held sway. By halfway Pauch was in the mix and by lap 20
had passed Cozze for second. As the laps clicked by, Pauch & Cozze Jr. brought the crowd to their feet several
times as they raced side-by-side thru the corners. With just two laps to go, Ron John Koczon lost power in turn one
and slowed. Leader Cozze Jr. almost made a great move to miss him, but caught Koczon’s car with his rear bumper causing
him to spin to a stop. Pauch then cruised to the victory over Cozze, 23rd starting Johnny Guarino, John Miloszar and
Mike Hendershot. Chad Barney of Lakewood, NJ was in the right place at the right time in the 20-lap
Sportsman Feature event. George Quinlan & Rocco Infante raced side by side into turn 3 on the final lap battling for
the lead, when the pair washed up the speedway opening the door wide for Barney who drove thru it and on to his second
victory of his career, 2 years to the day after his first. Infante bounced back for second at the line, followed by
Bob Lineman Jr. third, Mike Lyons fourth and George Quinlan rounding out the top five. PJ Oliver
won the Outlaw Stock feature on the final turn as he & race long leader Johnny Carpenter got together briefly. Jason
Saredy raced home second followed by Rich Mongeau, Shannon Mongeau & Carpenter. In the third event of the
Advantage Financial/Cradle Rock Developers Rookie Sportsman series, Dave Damiano won his 2nd of the year holding off
Bill Lester and Jarrett Rozycki for top honors. Darren McCaughey won the 15 lap Bonus Feature for the Modified drivers
that had won less than $600 in the last four weeks. This will be a monthly event at NES this season. Next
Saturday night, May 22, New Egypt Speedway presents Banner night. Big-Block Modifieds, Crate1 Sportsman, Rookie Sportsman, Tobias
Speedsters & Fastrak Late Models will be on the card. Gates open at 4:00 p.m. with the first race starting at 6:00
pm. For more information, call the speedway office at (609) 758-1900 or log on to www.newegyptspeedway.net.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE…
Gary Butler Wins Emotional Mothers Day Race at
New Egypt New Egypt, NJ (May 8, 2010) – Gary Butler of Phillipsburg, NJ drove to an impressive victory at
New Egypt Speedway on Saturday night as he captured the 30 lap Mothers Day Weekend feature event. Butler, who started
8th, used the outside groove on the smooth but slick surface to grab the lead by lap 13 from young gun Tommy Carberry Jr.
and cruise to the fourth feature win of his career. Butler was then overcome with emotion in victory lane as he dedicated
the win to his late mom.
“I lost my mom just 3 weeks ago,” an emotional Butler stated, “I can’t
think of a better way to honor her than this.” Butler then explained his charge to the front, “I moved up to
the outside groove early, and the car just drove great up there, even thru the slick spots. My crew did a great job
preparing the car all week for this.”
With a very strong wind blowing keeping the track quite slick, Tim Tanner Jr. grabbed the lead at the start
and paced the field in the opening laps. Tanner, who had lost 2 motors in the first 3 weeks this season already, looked
strong early on and led till lap 7 when Modified rookie Tommy Carberry Jr. to command. Carberry Jr. began to pull away
from Tanner as Butler was on the move and grabbed second. By lap 13 Butler had caught Carberry Jr. and completed what would
be the winning pass. Butler checked out over the second half of the race till about 7 to go, when Tanner got back by
Carberry Jr. and began to reel-in the leader. With the laps clicking off Tanner was able to erase Butler’s sizeable
lead but just ran out of time at the end as he finished a close second. Carberry Jr. added his best big-block finish
to the story as he crossed the line in third. Tommy Beamer and Modified rookie Ryan Forte were fourth and fifth across
the line.
Racer-X himself, Dan Mazy won the Crate-1 Sportsman 20 lap feature Saturday. Mazy had everyone covered on this
evening as he charged to the lead and never looked back. Bobby Dmuchowski was second, followed by Harry Marlin, Bryan
Papiez and Lee Allen. In the TriState RaceSaver 305 Sprint Car Series event Bill Case Jr. lead wire-to-wire
to capture his first ever tour win. Tim Damiani raced across the stripe in second, followed Jeff Geiges third and Doug
Smith fourth and John Wyers fifth. The Fastrak Late Models saw Steve Davis sweep the two 12 laps events for the
second time this season. Darin Henderson finished second in both of them while Mike Williams was third in the first one
& PJ Oliver came home third in the second one. . The Advantage Financial/Cradle Rock Developers Rookie Sportsman entered
week four tonight, and Bill Lester won his second straight feature event as he bested Jarrett Rozycki. Next Saturday
night, May 15th, New Egypt Speedway will feature a full card of Big-Block Modifieds, Sportsman, Outlaw Stocks and Rookie Sportsman.

Laubach Beats Guarino in New Egypt Thriller
New
Egypt, NJ (May 1, 2010) – In what many believe was one of the best nights in recent memory at New Egypt Speedway,
Rick Laubach of Hellertown, PA scored his second feature win of the young season in the 30-lap Modified feature on Saturday
night, sponsored by Cradlerock Developers & Professional Water Services. Laubach used the ultra fast and smooth
surface to grab the lead from race-long leader Johnny Guarino with just two laps remaining and then sped to the seventh
victory of his career at NES. In fact, all three feature of the evening came down to the final lap!
"Johnny
was tough tonight, but I think my experience is the only reason we won tonight," proclaimed Laubach in victory lane, "I
know that when your trying to win your first the nerves start up late in the race, and now that I am a veteran I get
up for these challenges. I feel bad for Johnny, but we are here to win and I give it my all every week. He will get
one soon."
Laubach started the race in 13th spot while Guarino charged to the early lead from his front row start.
Guarino looked impressive early, as he pulled away at will from Mike Barone and David Van Horn. Van Horn’s night
was short lived as he broke on lap 11 as he was challenging for second. The restart found Laubach sitting on row 4 with
Billy Pauch, and 2 laps later, Pauch broke in turn two setting off a chain reaction involving Ron John Koczon, Gary Butler
and Jimmy Horton, with Koczon done for the evening. Guarino continued to control the event by as much as half
of a straightaway while Frank Cozze and Laubach moved into second and third. With 9 laps to go, Laubach took second
spot from Cozze and began zeroing in on the leader. Laubach chipped away at Gaurino’s lead each lap until he caught
him with just 3 laps left. As the two-to-go sign was given, the cars were side by side at the start-finish line with each
person in attendance having their own view of who was in the lead. Laubach then took the lead in turn one, only to see
Guarino take it back on the backstretch as they hit lapped traffic. At this moment the yellow lights came on for
Frank Cozze Jr. who stopped against the homestretch fence. The official scoring reverting back to the completion of
lap 28, Lauback was found to be the leader by just .005 of a second on the AMD transponders. Laubach held on over the final two
laps to post his second win in three races while Guarino held off Cozze for his best finish ever at NES. Cozze cruised
home third ahead of a fast Kenny Carberry and new-comer Mike Barone who also posted his best ever NES finish.
Rocco Infante of Robbinsville, NJ bounced back after a less than stellar performance in the season
opener as he raced side by side with race-long leader Dave Hunt for the final 18 laps of the 20 lap Sportsman Feature
event. Hunt and Infante raced side by side lap after lap without touching, till Infante finally grabbed the lead for good
with just two laps remaining for the 17th win of his career. Hunt settled for second, followed by Randy Yaple third, Will
Dupree fourth and Pat Wall in fifth.
Scott Dugan of Farmingdale, NJ posted his first ever win at New Egypt Speedway taking top honors in the 20-lap Outlaw
Stock nightcap. He did this by holding off both PJ Oliver and Johnny Carpenter on either side of him over the final
3 laps. Oliver held on for second over Jason Saredy, Rich Mongeau and defending champ Shannon Mongeau.
In the third
event of the Advantage Financial/Cradle Rock Developers Rookie Sportsman series, Bill Lester became the 3rd winner in as
many events for the Rookies followed by Walt Larson and Glen Knell.
Next Saturday night, May 8, New Egypt
Speedway presents Mother’s Day night. Big-Block Modifieds, Crate1 Sportsman, Rookie Sportsman, 305 Sprint Cars
& Fastrak Late Models will be on the card. Gates open at 4:00 p.m. with the first race starting at 6:00 pm. For

USAC
WINGLESS SPRINTS & BIG BLOCK MODIFIED DOUBLE HEADER SET
FOR
NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY THURSDAY NIGHT, JUNE 3
(April 27, 2010) - One of the biggest events in New Egypt
Speedway history will take place on Thursday night, June 3rd when the National Touring Division, the USAC Wingless Sprints
invade this popular three-eighth mile, for their first return visit to the state of New Jersey in 32 years. The USAC wingless
sprints are known around the country for their "bring you to the edge of your seat" three wide racing excitement. Without
the top wing that is sported today by most sprint cars, the wingless sprints allow race fans a clear view of the driver as they fight the wheel in fierce competition.
The USAC wingless sprints, also known for their "slide jobs", a racing slang descriptor of an on the track pass. . . . . .
with just a touch of attitude. If you've never seen wingless sprint car racing, you don't know what you're missing.

Pauch Pitches a Gem on New Egypt Little League
Night
New Egypt, NJ (April 24, 2010) – Billy Pauch of Frenchtown, NJ was at the top of his game at New
Egypt Speedway on Saturday night as he captured the 30 lap feature event on Little League Night, sponsored by Infante
Sod Farm. Pauch improved on his last start by one position as he charged from his 8th starting spot to the lead in just
11 laps and went on to post his 82nd career victory. Gary Butler paced the field for the first eleven laps as
Pauch and a fast Jimmy Horton raced up thru the field to challenge. What appeared to be shaping up to be a pretty good
battle ended quickly as Butler pulled up lame off turn two with a flat right rear bringing out the races first caution
flag. Pauch powered away on the restart after inheriting the lead, while 2-time Sportsman champ Willie Osmun battled
with Horton for second. Osmun seemed to get faster as the race progressed, as he finally disposed of Horton and went after
the leader around halfway. Osmun would stay close on two consecutive restarts but was unable to stay with him on the
long runs, and eventually just settled for second….with his best ever Modified finish. Horton was a solid third
while Keith Hoffman nipped Bob Drayton on the last lap to grab fourth, relegating Drayton to fifth.
Pat Hires
of Levittown, PA won the first Crate-1 Sportsman feature of the year, the fourth of his career at NES. Hires passed
defending champion Jon Haegele on lap 12 and pulled away over the final 8 laps for the win. Haegele crossed the line
second, followed by John Micek, Bryan Kuhl and Jim Housworth.
In the first ever TriState RaceSaver 305 Sprint Series
event Chuck Palmucci of Bordentown, NJ took advantage of a restart with just one lap to go and entered the history books
as the groups first ever feature winner. John Wyers used a 3 wide pass to grab the lead on the opening lap and looked
unbeatable as he led by as much as a full straightaway at times. When the yellow flag was unfurled with one lap remaining,
no one thought Palmucci could muster enough to complete the pass, however he surprised everyone as he rocketed around the outside
of Wyers in turn two and never looked back. Wyers settled for second, followed Mark Bitner, Tim Damiani and Jeff Geigis.
The Fastrak Late Models also made their first appearance at NES, and Steve Davis made it a successful one for him,
as he swept both 12 lap features run for this division. Darin Henderson of Baltimore, MD finished second in both of
them after leading in the first half. Tony Giglio finished third in the first one, while Mike Williams grabbed
third in the nightcap.
The Advantage Financial/Cradle Rock Developers Rookie Sportsman series continued this week,
with Dave Damiano winning the 8 lap feature event. Last week’s winner Jarrett Rozycki was second and Bill Lester
was third. .
Next Saturday night, May 1st, New Egypt Speedway presents Cub Scout Night, as all scouts in uniform
will be admitted free. The racing will feature a full card of Big-Block Modifieds, Sportsman, Outlaw Stocks and Rookie
Sportsman. Gates open at 4:00 p.m. with the first race starting at 6:00 pm. For more information, call the speedway office

Laubach Picks Up Where He Left Off in New Egypt
Tri-Track Event
New Egypt, NJ (April 17, 2010) –
Rick Laubach of Hellertown, PA continued his dominance of the Tri-Track Series at New Egypt Speedway Saturday
night as he captured the 40 lap Series event, sponsored by Roemer Paintless Dent Repair. Laubach, the defending NES
champion and 2-time defending Tri-Track Series champ held off perennial NES winner Billy Pauch for all 40 laps to claim
his sixth career win at the New Jersey oval.
"This is awesome!," exclaimed Laubach in victory lane, "We like
to chase and run the big paying shows when we can, and when they have one at your home track it is great to be able
to take advantage of it."
Laubach started 2nd by the luck of the draw and wasted no time as he charged to the lead at the drop
of the green. However, winning this event was anything but easy for him as Billy Pauch had drawn fourth starting spot
and was right on his bumper from the outset. Laubach seemed to have Pauch covered in the early going, but a 16-lap green flag
period before halfway found Pauch really starting to apply the pressure in lapped traffic. New track regular David Van
Horn looked strong in his first NES outing of the year as he ran down the top 2 NES chauffeurs during this run, trailed
by Dominick Buffalino and Ryan Watt. When not watching the battle for the lead, most eyes were focused on former track
champions Jimmy Horton and Frank Cozze, as they made some exciting moves thru traffic as they charged from the back.
Horton’s great run from 13th starting spot would end on lap 32 when he coasted to a stop in turn 4 while running
fifth. Cozze started 21st and was in the top ten just 10 laps into the event and seemed to be one of the fastest cars
on the track as he ran the far outside of the multi-grooved racing surface. Up front, Laubach survived two late race
cautions and proved he had the best car on this night as he raced under the checkered 5 car lengths ahead of Pauch.
Van Horn had a solid first run coming home third, while Ryan Watt was steady again finishing fourth for the second straight
season in this event. Cozze’s great run resulted in a nice fifth place finish after winning the B-Main in the
tough 41 car field. Ken Carberry beat out Tim Tanner Jr. after a hard fought late race battle for sixth. Rounding out
the top ten were Richie Pratt Jr., Buffalino and Bridgeport Tri-Track winner Wade Hendrickson.
Kevin Vaclavicek of New Egypt, NJ started 2010 off in fine style as he picked up his first ever career
win in the 20-lap companion Sportsman event. Vaclavicek held off several different challenges, the last from former
multi-winner Mike Lyons to pick up the victory. Mike Howardson added yet another top five finish to his resume as he chases
after the Sportsman title this year finishing third. After a stint in the Middle East with the military last season, Clay
Butler made his return to racing a successful one as he came home 4th and Chad Barney rounded out the top five.

Johnny Carpenter with just 3 laps remaining to post his seventh career win. Carpenter settled for second followed by
early leader PJ Oliver, Jason Saredy and defending champ Shanon Mongeau.

New Egypt Speedway prepares for 2010.
(Thanks Guys !) :
New Egypt Speedway Hosting Two Wednesday Practice Sessions
New Egypt, NJ – The start of the
13th racing season at the New Egypt Speedway is only a couple of weeks away. But before the gates swing open on
Saturday, April 17, NES will host two open practices for anyone wishing to shake their cars down before the season starts.
The
first practice will be held on Wednesday, April 7 and a second practice on Wednesday, April 14. These two test and
tune sessions will be free-to-the-public wishing to take in some action from the grandstands. There will be a
$30 entry for anyone that wants to enter the pit area. The pit gates will open at 2pm with safety tech beginning
at 3pm. Race teams will be able to hit the track at 5pm for the first new laps of the 2010 season.
“We decided to go with a couple of Wednesday evening practices instead of the traditional Saturday
before our opener,” track manager Danny Serrano explained. “Bridgeport Speedway is opening that day and
since they are dark on our opener we felt that it's only fair that we do the same for them. It will also provide
for a more racier surface for the drivers. The night time conditions will be much closer to how the track usually
is on a Saturday night.”
The Tri-Track big block modifieds will headline the 2010 opener on April 17 in the $3,000 to win ‘Cabin
Fever’ 40-lap event sponsored by Roemer’s Paintless Dent Repair. Defending track champion as well as Tri-Track
Series champion Rick Laubach will lead a star-studded field into New Egypt Speedway on opening day that include multi-time
track champions Billy Pauch, Jimmy Horton, and Frank Cozze. The Bridgeport stars will be well represented as well
with Wade Hendrickson, Richie Pratt Jr., Ryan Watt, Chic Cossaboone, and Jimmy Chester challenging the NES regulars
in a fight to the end. Also on the agenda that evening will be the Sportsman and Outlaw Stock divisions as they do battle
in a pair of 20-lap events. Not to be upstaged by the mightby big block modifieds, track champions Rocco Infante
and Shanon Mongeau look to start off their title defense in 2010 by holding off a strong field of competitors on opening
day. The Advantage Financial/Cradlerock Developers Rookie Division will round out the racing card.
