WIGHT'S INDOOR DEBUT HIGHLY ANTICIPATED
LONG ISLANDERS ABROAD

When the phrase “brightest and best” is applied to upstate New York dirt track racing circles, Phoenix, N.Y. teenager Larry Wight’s name is at the top of the list. Wight, 19, is the latest of more than 200 drivers to enter Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall Indoor Races. Nearly thirty 600cc Micro Sprint teams have committed to participate in the race. The 10th edition of the event under the direction of Len Sammons and staff is planned for Friday and Saturday nights Feb. 3-4, 2012.

JEFF HEOTZLER ENTERS ATLANTIC CITY RACES

Jeff Heotzler, winner of Atlantic City’s 2005 Gamblers Classic Indoor Race at Boardwalk Hall, is the latest TQ (Three quarter) Midget driver to enter the annual event. The 10th edition of the event under the direction of Len Sammons and staff is planned for Friday and Saturday nights Feb. 3-4, 2012. Heotzler, of Wallkill, N.Y., was the winner of a memorable race that was decided in Heotzler’s favor on the final lap.

The biggest challenge teenage racer Erick Rudolph will face racing in Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall is not likely to be on the track. It’s the trip getting there.
The 10th edition of the event under the direction of Len Sammons and staff is planned for Friday and Saturday nights Feb. 3-4, 2012. TQ (three quarter) Midgets, dirt 600cc Micro-Sprints, Slingshots and Champ Karts will be in competition.
Rudolph enjoys racing so much that he will be traveling from Ransomville, N.Y., an eight hour drive each way, to compete in both the TQ Midget and dirt 600cc Micro Sprint races.

There is a certain pride that comes in winning the Gambler’s Classic TQ-Midget race at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J. Just ask Ted Christopher. More than 210 race cars showed up for practice at Boardwalk Hall Thursday night in preparation for this weekend’s 9th annual Gambler’s Classic. “We, by far, are excited for the next two days of racing action at Boardwalk Hall,” said event promoter and organizer Len Sammons. “With a large turnout of cars for practice along with more expected to enter on Friday, we expect this to be a grand event for the fans and competitors.” Four divisions of race cars – TQ-Midgets, 600cc Micro Sprint Cars, Slingshots and Champ Karts – participated in the five hour practice session. Now for the reason for creating this site
 
This site was created by me because of frustations with other internet service providers, and is for the use of anyone who's interested in anything about NASCAR. 
 
  However,over time I hope to add other auto racing news,from other auto racing series / venues ,in the hopes of having something here for everyone to enjoy.
 
Now for a little bit about me ,
 
 
I'm Joe,from New Jersey. I've lived in the Garden State for most of my life.  It's also where I've been fighting,to get a major NASCAR track built somewhere in the NYC/NJ area for many years now.
I am also "foot soldier" / bill collector for the electric company.So I do work days. Therefore the best time to check for any updates is after 8 pm,on weeknights.  But just about any time on weekends !!!
My favorite current driver : KASEY KAHNE
I'm also a fan of :Martin Truex Jr. ( Hey ! He's a "Jersey Guy" !!! I was rooting for him since I first saw him racing .and winning,as a 17 year old,in the modified division at Wall Stadium ( now known as Wall Speedway ) !!!
My favorite all time driver : "Awesome Bill From Dawsonville" ... BILL ELLIOTT !!!
Needless to say .My favorite car owner is fellow "Jersey Guy"...Ray Evernham
My favorite NASCAR Track : Dover
